A LEGAL NOTE:  Stonewall Community Association, Inc. (SCA, Inc.) is a state-chartered independent nonprofit corporation.  Our membership is voluntary; we are a neighborhood association, NOT a homeowners’ association.  As such, SCA’s stated purpose is to operate exclusively for “charitable and educational” purposes.

Because we are not a federally chartered nonprofit corporation under the Internal Revenue Code [i.e., we are not a 501 (c)(3) corporation], your contributions to Stonewall Community Association in the form of dues or other donation are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.

SCA’s method of communication with neighbors who may or may not belong to the SCA, Inc. is

  • via your reading info on this web site and also
  • via an email network which issues information from the association.
  • via a quarterly printed newsletter (Stonewallinfo) that is mailed to every mailing address in Stonewall.

This web site is the property of Stonewall Community Association, Inc.  Webmaster is Andrew Franklin.

You can use stonewallneighborhood@gmail.com to send a message to our mailmaster, who circulates appropriate information to a self-nominating Stonewall email addresses list.  Send your name, street address, one email address, and phone number to stonewallneighborhood@gmail.com to be added to this list.  Notices of email address changes can be made to the same address; please tell us you OLD as well as your NEW email address in addition to the other info.  A reminder of this information is contained in each newsletter.

SCA, Inc. is not connected with any other nonprofit or for-profit corporation, including Facebook or Nextdoor.  Many of our Stonewall residents use Facebook or Nextdoor to communicate and informally discuss neighborhood topics, but SCA, Inc. does not use these social media services for official correspondence with our members.
